S. Aneeqa Aqeel heads HFR Media, LLC and joined the company in January 2024. Aneeqa is responsible for product offerings from HFR in the digital media space. She collaborates internally and externally to HFR to produce timely analysis of market performance and expectations, as well as digital content about the hedge fund industry for all stakeholders.

Aneeqa has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and also holds an M.Phil. Economics and B.A. (Hons.) in Economics and Management from University of Oxford, England. Aneeqa served as Assistant Professor of Economics at Lake Forest College and has also worked at the central bank and Ministry of Finance in Pakistan.  Aneeqa welcomes connections with fund managers who are curious about HFR, and conversations with allocators and economists about the hedge fund industry.
