HFRX INDICES MID-JUNE 2025 PERFORMANCE NOTES
Global financial markets gained through mid-June, despite rising geopolitical risks, as volatility declined and investor optimism surrounding trade, tariffs, and economic growth supported gains. Interest rates remained largely stable throughout the month, with inflation data continuing to indicate easing price pressures. The U.S. dollar weakened against most major currencies. In commodities, oil surged to lead gains, while platinum, silver, and natural gas also gained.
Hedge funds gained through mid-June, with the HFRX Global Hedge Fund Index gaining +0.54%.
